The 2020 SFP Louis Ancel Prize is awarded to Gwendal Fève for his work over the last decade at the forefront of electronic quantum optics.
He has developed remarkable experiments combining the use of quasiparticle colliders in the mesoscopic regime with the use of single electron sources in order to explore the coherence properties of electronic currents consisting of one to a few elementary electronic excitations.
